Lillye...

From my impromptu Senior Session... For those that don't know, her mom (one of my best friends) surprised me by showing up at my doorstep with her beautiful daughter, Lillye, wearing this gorgeous outfit and with old family books... She'd just finished her "official" portraits with the photography group that is contracted by the school and she was hoping for some artistic shots.

I had the opportunity to photograph my beautiful niece, wearing my grandmother's dress and gloves from the 1950s, back in my hometown. It was a very moving and beautiful experience for me. My family, my heritage, my world here in LA and back in Nebraska definitely colors my world...
